Source: Meta's published guidance in the Facebook Ads Guide and the Safe Zone help page, checked August 2026. Meta publishes percentages only. On a 1080 x 1920 canvas they work out to about 269 px top, 672 px bottom and 65 px each side (our conversion). Meta recommends 1440 x 2560 for 9:16 assets, and Ads Manager has its own Safe Zone guardrail toggle you can flick on before publishing.
